Russian Hill II
A Hidden Gem
2,736 sf | 4 floors w/ roof deck, 2 units, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and 1 home theater
We love doing what we do, making every home a dream home, or "Drömhus" in Swedish, and this project is a primary example of that. We worked closely with designers, consultants, and subcontractors, emphasizing the importance of communication, teamwork, and high-quality craftsmanship to revive this home and provide the client with their "Drömhus."
The existing house was completely gutted and restored into modern dwellings with floor-to-ceiling glass walls offering picturesque views of the city beyond. The interior underwent a sophisticated renovation that opened up the floor plan for fluidity, a central interconnecting cantilevered wood-clad steel stair, and a home theater. Close attention and selection of finishes resulted in modernized interiors with custom cabinetry, fixtures, and appliances. Finally, the 65-foot front setback from the street allows for an inviting entry full of selected landscapes while giving the home privacy and seclusion.
